Plans a candidate override set exactly as the update would — same resolution, validation and sleeve plan — and writes nothing: no assignment, buffer cash, or sleeve changes. Invalid overrides get the same 400 conflicts as the update. The sleeve plan can still differ from the save's if the account's sleeves change in between, and accounts-side refusals only surface on the save.
